Introducing 250 Buildings, 250 Stories – statewide initiative that identifies, tells the story of, and catalyzes reinvestment in 250 historic buildings – celebrating the past, present, and future of our historical assets. 

We want your help to share the stories behind your community’s historic places. The stories will be collected and shared across three categories:

Celebrated 250 – already rehabilitated success stories

Opportunity 250 – buildings ready for investment

Legacy 250 – buildings with significant historic stories worth documenting

What We’ll Need to Share Your Story

• Basic Building Info (ownership, condition, square footage)
• Photos (current + historic, if available)
• The Building’s Story (economic + cultural significance)

How We’ll Share These Stories

Starting during Preservation month and continuing through our annual conference, we’ll share these stories on Facebook daily.
