State Historic Preservation Officer at the State Historic Preservation Office, Westerville

Oversees the administration of the Resource Protection & Review Department at Ohio’s State Historic Preservation Office. Duties include development and implementation of departmental policies, review and compliance functions pursuant to Sections 106 and 110 of the National Historic Preservation Act and state laws. Advises and educates federal/state agency staff and other parties about review and compliance regulations, laws, and procedures.

Prior to working at SHPO, 15 years of Cultural Resource Management experience in Georgia and Ohio. Experience includes the preparation of historic district preservation plans, historic resources surveys, Historic American Engineering Record (HAER) level documentation, National Register of Historic Places Nominations, and numerous Section 106 Phase I & II level surveys.
