As the general manager of Cleveland’s “Dive Bar” for the past 8 years and the “Blind Pig” before that, Justin Costanzo has gone far beyond what would be expected of an average citizen in Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District.
Under his direction, The Dive Bar regularly hosts 25 to 30 charity events a year, supporting local organizations and causes. Justin helps plan the Warehouse District’s annual street festival, and serves as a business representative on Cleveland’s Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation board.
This past month, Justin stepped-up to take a leadership role to preserve the quality life in the Warehouse District. The District has grappled with safety issues from poorly managed bars during the late night weekend hours. Justin will be working this fall with his fellow businesses to enact a Memorandum of Understanding to work together to eliminate nuisance activities and create a safe and lively experience in the Warehouse District for residents and visitors.
It is clear that Justin truly has the Spirit of Main Street.
