President of Van Dyke Architects, Cleveland
Duane Van Dyke, AIA, LEED AP is the President of Van Dyke Architects LLC. Located in the historic Caxton Building in Cleveland, Ohio, Van Dyke founded the firm January of 1998 after working at several of Cleveland’s large architectural firms. He has experience in a wide variety of building types, and is well known for his public library projects, having been involved with fifty libraries to date. A graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Van Dyke also studied at the Architectural Association in London, England. He is a registered Architect in the State of Ohio and is a LEED Accredited Professional. Van Dyke is a strong proponent for saving historic structures. He was a key advocate for HB 149, the State Historic Tax Credit. After bringing the need to the attention of Representative Chuck Calvert, Van Dyke testified twice before the House Ways and Means Committee in support of the legislation, and by contacting a number of Legislators.
