W. Kevin Pape

Retired Co-Founder & Principal of Gray & Pape, Cincinnati

Mr. Pape established Gray & Pape in 1986 and is a nationally recognized expert in cultural resource management, historic preservation, and contract archaeology. Mr. Pape is the author of historic preservation planning documents, and the manager of archaeological data recovery investigations. In addition to managing large-scale Section 106 and NEPA projects, Mr. Pape provides third-party quality control oversight to federal agencies and SHPOs for complex projects. Mr. Pape currently serves as Chair of Heritage Ohio, Inc. and previously held the office of President of the American Cultural Resources Association. Mr. Pape has served as Associate Editor for Cultural Resource Management of the Society for American Archaeology Bulletin and Chair the Society’s Professional Development Committee. Mr. Pape serves on the board of the Over-the-Rhine Foundation and the Cincinnati Museum Center’s Natural History Advisory Board. He is also President of NHG Alaska, LLC, the firm selected to provide cultural resource management services to the Alaska Pipeline Project.
