Since 1992, the Cleveland Restoration Society (CRS) has operated the Heritage Home Program to provide lowinterest home equity loans and free technical assistance to homeowners. This program has assisted over 14,000 homeowners with over $300 million dollars-worth of projects. The Heritage Home Program is now available in over 40 communities in NE Ohio.
The Cleveland Restoration Society relies on a collaboration with Cuyahoga County and the Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), who subsidize the low interest rates provided by Third Federal Savings and Loan and KeyBank, making this program competitive and desirable.
