This year’s recipient of the Best Downtown Placemaking is The Lincoln Way streetscape project in Massillon.
The plan to design The Lincoln Way streetscape was hatched in 2016, in order to meet the desires and needs of downtown businesses and residents. The Lincoln Way streetscape project overcame many obstacles, like aging infrastructure, in order to prioritize pedestrian safety while creating an attractive urban space for people to gather and enjoy Massillon.
